Welcome to Telm. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing telm.com, signing in, adding the Telm bot to a group or channel, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Telm on behalf of a company or community, you confirm you are authorized to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or older where your local law requires a higher age for consenting to online services) and old enough to use Telegram under its own terms. By using Telm you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Description of Service
Telm is a moderation platform for Telegram communities: automated spam detection (including AI analysis), moderation tools, analytics, engagement features, paid group access and related APIs. We keep improving the service and may change or retire individual features. If a change materially reduces functionality you have paid for, we will notify you in advance where reasonably possible and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must connect with your Telegram account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Group Admins and Members
Telm is added to a group by its admin. The admin chooses the settings, is responsible for having the authority to add a moderation bot, and for informing members that the group is moderated with automated (including AI-based) tools where local law requires such notice.
Group members interact with Telm without creating an account. Moderation decisions in a group are ultimately the responsibility of its admins; Telm executes the configuration the admin selected.
6. Content and Groups
You retain ownership of all content in your Telegram groups. By using Telm, you grant us a limited license to process messages as necessary to provide our services.
You represent that:
- You have admin rights to the groups you connect
- Your groups comply with Telegram's Terms of Service
- You will not use Telm for illegal purposes
We reserve the right to disconnect any group that violates these terms.
7. Automated and AI Moderation
Telm's verdicts are produced automatically, including by machine-learning models, and can be wrong. We reduce mistakes with layered checks, monitoring mode and an appeal flow that lets affected members request review, but we do not guarantee that every decision is correct. Admins remain free to override any decision, and Telm is not liable for actions admins take based on the bot's verdicts.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed per group, monthly or yearly, through our payment providers. Prices exclude any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from the billing page and keep access until the end of the paid period.
Refunds: card payments are refundable within 14 days of the first charge of a new subscription. Payments made with Telegram Stars are processed and refunded under Telegram's own rules. Cryptocurrency payments are technically irreversible; where a refund is approved, it is issued in the original currency equivalent at our discretion. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
Trials never require a card and never convert into a paid subscription automatically.
9. Paid Group Access (Monetization)
Group owners may charge members for access to their groups or channels through Telm, by card or Telegram Stars. In this flow the owner is the seller of access to their community; Telm provides the technical platform, collects payments through its providers and credits the owner's earnings balance after deducting the platform commission shown in the dashboard.
Owners are responsible for the content of their paid communities, for honoring the access they sell, and for their own tax obligations on earnings. Earnings are subject to a maturation hold and a minimum payout amount, both shown in the dashboard. Refunds to members follow the Payments section; a full refund or chargeback revokes the corresponding access.
10. Affiliate Program
Our affiliate program pays a recurring commission for customers you refer, at the rates published on the affiliates page. Commissions accrue on eligible payments only, mature through a hold period, and can be reversed if the underlying payment is refunded or charged back. Self-referrals, misleading promotion and brand-term bidding are prohibited and void accrued commissions. We may change program rates prospectively; accrued commissions are not affected. Payouts require a valid payout method and the minimum balance shown in the dashboard. Affiliates are responsible for their own taxes.
11. API and Integrations
API access is provided with per-plan quotas and rate limits published in the documentation. API keys are personal to your account; keep them secret and rotate them if exposed. We may throttle or revoke keys that endanger the stability or security of the service. Webhooks are delivered on a best-effort basis with documented retries.
12. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Telm to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, spam or unsolicited advertising, or to moderate communities dedicated to illegal content. You may not probe, overload or disrupt the service, scrape it beyond documented APIs, resell or redistribute the service except as expressly allowed by your plan (for example, the white-label add-on) or a written agreement with us, or misrepresent your affiliation with Telm.
13. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every spam message will be caught, or that automated decisions will always be correct. Beta and experimental features are marked as such and may change or disappear without notice. This section does not limit non-waivable consumer warranties.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telm is provided without liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Consumers keep all rights granted by mandatory consumer-protection rules of their country of residence.
15. Indemnity
If you use Telm in breach of these Terms or applicable law — including adding the bot to a community without authority, or unlawfully processing your members' data — and this results in a third-party claim against us, you agree to indemnify us for the resulting damages and reasonable costs. This clause does not apply to the extent prohibited by consumer-protection law.
16. Suspension, Termination and Your Data
You can remove the bot and delete your account at any time from the dashboard; deletion of the account removes your personal data under our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms; where practical, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. After termination you can request an export of your moderation data within 30 days. Sections that by their nature should survive (payments owed, liability, governing law) survive termination.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai, U.A.E. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai, except that if you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to sue at home, you keep that right.
Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us at support@telm.com — most issues are resolved within a few business days.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. For material changes that reduce your rights or increase your obligations, we will give at least 30 days' notice (on this page and, for paying customers, by a notification). If you disagree with a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid, unused period. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
19. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them within our corporate group or in a merger or asset sale. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. Notices to you may be given via the dashboard, the bot or the email/Telegram account linked to your profile.
These Terms are published in multiple languages for convenience; the English version prevails in case of any discrepancy.
