How the CAS check runs at join time
CAS — the Combot Anti-Spam system — is a shared blocklist of accounts reported as spammers across the wider Telegram community, holding millions of records. When a new member requests to join, Telm queries that database for their Telegram ID before they can post. A match means the account has already been flagged somewhere in the network, and Telm auto-bans or flags it according to your settings.
