The whole engine,

Getting startedAdd the bot, doneConnect a BotFather token once, then it runs itself

Connected in four steps

  1. 1

    Create your bot

Create a bot in BotFather — pick the name and avatar your community should see.

  2. 2

    Connect the token

Paste the bot token in Telm's dashboard. The token is stored encrypted and used only to run your bot.

  3. 3

    Verify the setup

Add your bot to the group as admin with ban, delete and pin rights, then run the built-in setup check.

  4. 4

    Go fully branded

Once the check passes, moderation runs fully under your bot — you can remove the built-in Telm bot from the group.

A per-group add-on, priced honestly

The white-label bot is a paid per-group add-on on top of an active Pro or Business plan, billed monthly or yearly. Full pricing is on the pricing page.

Your community sees your bot — and only your bot

For brands, agencies and creators, the moderator bot is part of the community's face. A third-party name on every ban and greeting dilutes that — and if you manage groups for clients, it quietly advertises someone else. The white-label add-on removes the trade-off: you connect a bot you created in BotFather, and the entire Telm engine operates under its name and avatar.

Nothing about the protection changes. Spam detection, raid shield, captcha, welcome messages, triggers, the journal — everything runs exactly as with the built-in bot, managed from the same dashboard. Once the setup check passes, you can remove the branded Telm bot from the group entirely; moderation is fully handled by yours.

The add-on is priced per group on top of an active Pro or Business plan, with monthly or yearly billing. If a payment ever fails, the bot keeps working for three more days and you get a notification — your community is never left unprotected mid-cycle. If the bot token is revoked in BotFather, the dashboard flags it and walks you through registering a new one.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose any features when switching to my own bot?

No. The white-label add-on runs the same engine as the built-in bot — anti-spam, raid protection, captcha, welcomes, triggers, journal. Only the identity your members see changes.

What do I need to set it up?

A bot created in BotFather. You connect its token, add your bot to the group as admin with the required rights (ban users, delete messages, pin messages), and run the built-in setup check. Once it passes, you can remove the branded Telm bot.

How is the add-on billed?

Per group, on top of an active Pro or Business plan, with monthly or yearly billing. The subscription renews automatically; if a payment fails, the bot keeps working for 3 more days while you get notified.

What if my bot token is revoked in BotFather?

The dashboard detects it and prompts you to register a new token. Your settings and group configuration stay intact — you reconnect and continue.

Can I use different bots for different groups?

Yes — the add-on is per group, so an agency can run each client's community under that client's own bot identity.
