Setting up the AI content plan (draft or auto)

Turn on the AI content plan so the AI community manager writes posts from topics you list. Choose draft to approve each, or auto to publish. Pro and Business.

1What the AI content plan does

The content plan is one of the four tools in the AI community manager. Give it topics and it turns out ready-to-post content for your group, so a quiet channel always has something fresh to share.

It runs on a steady cadence and sends every post through the scheduler, so drafts and automatic posts sit right beside anything you scheduled by hand.

The AI content plan is part of the AI Manager add-on. It needs an active Pro or Business plan plus the AI Manager add-on (49 USD per month, or 490 USD per year). Manage it from your group subscription.

2Enable it and add topics

Open your group, go to the AI Manager section, and switch on the content plan. Then list the topics you want the AI to write about, one per line.

Topics can be broad (product tips, market news) or specific (this week's release notes). You set the direction and the generator writes the full post for you.

3Draft versus auto

The mode decides whether a new post waits for you or goes out on its own.

  • Draft — every post is created switched off in the scheduler. You review it and enable it to publish. Nothing goes live without your approval.
  • Auto — posts are published to the group automatically, no extra steps.
Start in draft mode to get a feel for the tone the AI produces, then switch to auto once you trust it.

4Language and quota

Posts use the AI Manager language you set, or your group default when left on auto, so content lands in the language your members actually speak.

Generation uses your daily AI allowance, shown as a bar in the AI Manager section. One post a day sits comfortably within a normal day, and the allowance resets every day.

5Where posts appear

Whichever mode you pick, posts run through the scheduler. In draft mode you will find each new post there, switched off and ready to review; in auto mode you will see it already sent.

Pair the content plan with the content scheduler and RSS sources for hand-written and feed-driven posts, and with the owner digest to keep an eye on how the group responds.
