The Free plan is free and covers a group of up to 500 members. Basic is 9 dollars per month and lifts you to 1,000 members with the full rule engine. Pro is 29 dollars per month and unlocks AI moderation for up to 5,000 members. Business is 99 dollars per month for the largest communities, up to 25,000 members, with every feature turned on.
The higher the plan, the more members are included, the longer your history is stored, the more custom rules you can create and the higher your API quota. Nothing is throttled — each tier simply raises the ceilings.

2How billing works
Telm uses a per-group model: one paid subscription protects exactly one group. If you run several communities, each paid group carries its own plan, which lets you put a busy flagship group on Pro while a small side chat stays on Free.
Every paid plan can be billed monthly or yearly. The yearly price equals ten monthly payments, so a year costs the same as ten months and two months come free. You can switch between monthly and yearly whenever you change your plan.
Free is unusual in that a single owner can keep up to five free groups. Paid plans are always one group per subscription.

4What the Free plan gives you
Free is a real working plan, not a countdown trial. It never expires and covers a community of up to 500 members. It includes basic analytics, the rule-based moderation engine and the CAS blocklist that stops known Telegram spammers, plus the ability to charge members for access if you want to monetize.
Free keeps 7 days of message history and lets you build up to 5 custom rules. It is the right starting point for a new or small group, and you can upgrade the moment you outgrow it without losing any settings.
5When to move to a paid plan
Basic is the natural next step once a group passes 500 members or needs deeper history and more rules. It adds AI moderation (100 messages/day), fake-admin detection, the global spam database, the appeals system, auto-kick and verification of newcomers through the bot private chat.
Pro is the turning point for active communities under real spam pressure: the AI quota grows to 1,000 messages/day, and DM broadcasts, voice and video moderation, a personal machine-learning model and the moderation team switch on.
Business is for the largest and most demanding groups: unlimited custom rules, a full year of history, the AI moderation copilot, a data export and priority support.
6Growing past the included members
Each paid plan includes a member allowance, and when a group grows beyond it you add capacity in blocks rather than jumping to the next plan. A block is charged as a second line on the same subscription and only changes when you choose to add or remove blocks.
The block size matches the plan: Basic adds 1,000 members for 3 dollars per month, Pro adds 5,000 members for 5 dollars per month, and Business adds 25,000 members for 10 dollars per month. Free cannot buy capacity, so a growing free group is the signal to upgrade.
7Trials, activation and statuses
When a subscription is in a trial or active state your group has full access to that plan. A subscription becomes inactive only when it is past due or expired, at which point the group falls back to Free; a canceled subscription keeps access until the period ends feature limits.
Trials never require a card and never auto-charge. If a card-less trial ends without payment, the group simply returns to Free rather than being locked out.
8Choosing the right plan
Match the plan to the pressure your group is under, not just its size. A quiet 4,000-member announcement channel may be perfectly safe on Basic, while a noisy 800-member crypto chat under constant spam attack is better on Pro for the AI layer.
A good rule of thumb: pick Basic for rule-based control, Pro the moment you need DM broadcasts, voice moderation and the personal ML model, and Business when you need a team, unlimited rules and long history.
