Telm Plans and Pricing: Free, Pro, Business

A complete guide to Telm pricing: compare Free, Pro (29 dollars) and Business (99 dollars), groups per subscription, extra groups, yearly discounts and trials.

In short

Telm sells three plans billed monthly or yearly: Free (0 dollars, groups of up to 1,000 members), Pro (29 dollars per month for one group, member limit 25,000) and Business (99 dollars per month for five groups, no member limit). On Pro and Business you can add extra groups to the same subscription for 19 dollars per month each. Paying yearly costs ten months for a full year, so two months are on the house. Going over a member limit never stops protection — the dashboard simply suggests the plan that fits.

1The plans at a glance

Telm sells three plans: Free, Pro and Business. Free protects each of your groups on its own, while a paid subscription covers one group on Pro or five groups on Business, so you only pay for the communities that need more than Free.

The Free plan is free and covers a group of up to 1,000 members, AI moderation and appeals included. Pro is 29 dollars per month for one group or channel, raises the member limit to 25,000 and adds voice moderation, the personal ML model, DM broadcasts and the REST API. Business is 99 dollars per month for five groups or channels on one subscription, with no member limit and every feature turned on. On Pro and Business, each extra group costs 19 dollars per month.

The higher the plan, the more members are included, the longer your history is stored, the more custom rules you can create and the higher your API quota. Nothing is throttled — each tier simply raises the ceilings.

  • Free: 0 dollars, member limit 1,000 per group, 7-day history, 10 custom rules
  • Pro: 29 dollars per month, 1 group, member limit 25,000, 90-day history, 100 custom rules
  • Business: 99 dollars per month, 5 groups, no member limit, 365-day history, unlimited custom rules
  • Extra groups: 19 dollars per month each on Pro or Business; Enterprise: 499 dollars per month for up to 50 groups in one dashboard

2How billing works

Telm bills per subscription: a Pro subscription protects one group and a Business subscription protects five. If you run more communities, add extra groups to the same Pro or Business subscription for 19 dollars per month or 190 dollars per year each — every extra group gets the plan of the subscription and renews with it. Each group can also have a plan of its own, which lets you put a busy flagship group on Pro while a small side chat stays on Free.

Every paid plan can be billed monthly or yearly. The yearly price equals ten monthly payments, so a year costs the same as ten months and two months come free. You can switch between monthly and yearly whenever you change your plan, and any extra groups move to the same cycle.

Free works differently: a single owner can keep up to five groups on Free, each on its own Free plan. On every plan, a channel and its linked discussion group count as one group.

Paying yearly is the simplest way to save: Pro is 290 dollars a year instead of 348, Business is 990 instead of 1,188, and an extra group is 190 instead of 228.

3How the plans compare

Use this ladder to see what grows as you move up. Every figure below comes straight from the product.

  • Groups and member limit: Free up to 1,000 members per group; Pro 1 group, up to 25,000; Business 5 groups, no limit
  • History retention: Free 7 days, Pro 90 days, Business 365 days
  • Custom moderation rules: Free 10, Pro 100, Business unlimited
  • Daily API calls: Free 100 (spam check only), Pro 10,000, Business 50,000
  • Included DM broadcasts per month: Free none, Pro 2,500, Business 10,000 per group
  • AI checks through the spam-check API: Free none, Pro 1,000 a day, Business 10,000 a day (AI moderation inside your groups is included on every plan)

4What the Free plan gives you

Free is a real working plan, not a countdown trial. It never expires and covers a community of up to 1,000 members. It includes the core anti-spam engine with AI moderation of borderline messages, ban appeals with an automatic AI review, basic analytics, the CAS blocklist that stops known Telegram spammers, the global spam database, fake-admin detection, captcha and verification of newcomers through the bot private chat, plus the ability to charge members for access if you want to monetize.

Free keeps 7 days of message history and lets you build up to 10 custom rules, and one owner can keep up to five groups on it. It is the right starting point for a new or small group, and you can upgrade the moment you outgrow it without losing any settings.

5When to move to a paid plan

Pro is the natural next step once a group passes 1,000 members or needs more than core protection. It adds voice and video-note moderation, a personal machine-learning model, DM broadcasts, the moderator team, advanced analytics with the activity heatmap, the REST API and webhooks, 90 days of history and up to 100 custom rules.

Business is for the largest and most demanding communities and for owners who run several groups: one subscription covers five groups or channels with no member limit, plus unlimited custom rules, a full year of history, the AI moderation copilot, a data export and priority support.

Large communities new to Telm can start on Business without paying: through the Telm for Communities offer, a group with 1,000+ members gets Business free for 3 months, 5,000+ members for 6 months and 20,000+ members for 12 months. No card is needed, the “Protected by Telm” badge stays on, and the dashboard shows whether your group qualifies.

6Growing past a member limit

Each plan has a member limit per group: Free covers groups of up to 1,000 members, Pro raises the limit to 25,000, and Business has no member limit at all. Growth never adds a charge to your bill — the limit only signals which plan suits the group.

Going over a limit never stops protection: moderation keeps working exactly as before. The owner sees a banner in the dashboard and gets one message from the bot suggesting the right plan — Pro for a Free group, Business for a Pro group or for any group above 25,000.

Running more groups than your plan covers? Extra groups on Pro or Business cost 19 dollars per month each. See “Member limits, extra groups and credits” for how limits and extra groups are billed.

7Trials, activation and statuses

When a subscription is in a trial or active state your group has full access to that plan. A subscription becomes inactive only when it is past due or expired, at which point the group falls back to Free; a canceled subscription keeps access until the end of the paid period.

Trials last 7 days, never require a card and never auto-charge, and there is one trial per account and per group. If a trial ends without payment, the group simply returns to Free rather than being locked out, and Free still covers groups of up to 1,000 members.

8Choosing the right plan

Match the plan to what your group needs, not just its size. AI moderation and appeals are part of every plan, so even a noisy 800-member crypto chat under constant spam attack is well protected on Free. Pro pays off when spam arrives in voice notes, when your community's slang calls for a personal ML model, or when you want DM broadcasts, a moderator team or the API.

A good rule of thumb: stay on Free while the group is under 1,000 members and rules, AI moderation and the shared spam databases cover you; pick Pro the moment you need voice moderation, the personal ML model, DM broadcasts or the API; and choose Business when you run several groups or need unlimited members and rules, long history and the AI copilot.
