Every new group gets a 7-day Pro trial, activated automatically when you connect the group — no card, no forms. You get the full Pro feature set to see what Telm can do at its best. When the trial ends, the group quietly drops to the Free plan: nothing is deleted, settings stay, and paid features simply pause until you subscribe. One trial per group and per Telegram account.

The trial is the real Pro plan, not a cut-down demo: up to 5,000 members, 90 days of analytics history, 100 custom rules, voice moderation, the personal ML model, REST API and webhooks, DM broadcasts and the moderator team. If a feature exists on Pro, it works during the trial.
The point of the trial is to let you judge Telm on its strongest setup. Most admins spend the first days in monitoring mode, watching what the bot would do before letting it act — seven days is enough to see it handle real traffic in your group.
2How it starts (you don't have to do anything)
When you connect a group to Telm, the trial is granted automatically as part of onboarding. There is no card form and no separate activation step — the subscription is created inside Telm, not through a payment provider, which is why nobody asks for payment details.
You can also start it manually from the billing page in the dashboard if your group is on Free and has never used a trial before.
3One trial per group — and per account
The trial can be used once per group and once per Telegram account, whichever comes first. If your account already used its trial on another group, a new group starts on Free right away.
A group can't take a trial while it has any active subscription, is covered by someone's Business plan, or belongs to an Enterprise organization — in those cases paid features are already on, so there is nothing to trial.
4What happens when it ends
On day seven the group drops to the Free plan automatically. Your settings, rules, history and the moderation journal all stay exactly as they were — Telm deletes nothing on downgrade. Pro-only features pause: they stop working but keep their configuration, so if you upgrade later everything resumes where it left off.
Telm does not currently send a reminder before the trial ends, so if you want to avoid even a short gap on Free, note the end date shown on the billing page and upgrade from there.
5Continuing on a paid plan
