Refunds are handled on request through support. When a refund is issued, the matching subscription is cancelled and paid access ends. Opening a card dispute (chargeback) has the same effect and also removes access, so a support refund is usually the better route.

Because plan changes are prorated in real time, most billing questions are settled by switching plans or cancelling rather than by a refund. If you were charged in error, or something went wrong that a plan change cannot fix, you can request a refund and the team will review it.
Refunds can be full or partial. A partial refund returns part of a charge while the rest of the subscription may continue; a full refund reverses the whole charge.
2How to request a refund
Reach out to support with the group, the charge date and the reason. Refunds go back to the original payment method through the provider that took the charge.
Before requesting a refund, check whether changing your plan or cancelling already solves your situation, since those take effect immediately.
3What happens after a refund
When a full refund is issued, the related subscription is cancelled and the group returns to Free, the same way a cancellation ends paid access. Every refund is recorded against the original payment, so your billing history stays consistent.
If only part of a charge is refunded, the subscription can stay active; the refund is still logged against that payment.
4Disputes and chargebacks
A dispute (also called a chargeback) is when you ask your card issuer to reverse a charge directly. Telm gets the dispute notification from the payment provider and treats the funds as withdrawn.
When a dispute withdraws the funds for a charge, the access that charge paid for is revoked, just like a refund. If a dispute was opened by mistake, contact support instead so it can be sorted out without an involuntary loss of access.
5Mobile in-app purchases
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds for those purchases follow the store's rules and are requested through the store. Telm receives the store refund notification and updates your subscription to match, ending access when the store reports a full refund.
